Eric Hughes (Lance's cousin, Jimmy Hughes son, Nikki Owsley's brother) went on his mission in Ecuador in 1988, he served with this girl named Delia a native. She thought he was the cutest. Lance shows up in 1995 and by accident went to their house, and her and her sister Nubia went crazy saying his last name, and asked Lance if he knew Eric, he said yes and they were excited. So throughout the years Lance has kept in contact with them, so they came with us to a lot of places while we were down there.

This is my birthday picture we took Delia and nubia out for dinner, they ran to the bathroom a lot the food was to spicey. Lance thinks the only time thye go out for dinner is when someone like us takes them out, maybe once a year, every meal comes from their kitchen, now that's impressive.

looks like you were able to see a lot of stuff. it's so nice that lance can speak their language (duh, he served his mission there). but seriously when you visit another place that speaks a different language it's 10 times easier.
anyway, looks like an interesting place. i am so glad we don't live in homes like that and have to worry about being washed away. even on stilts they look like they can be washed away!
looks like you guys had fun, now we need to plan a trip together!
